Stadio Alfredo d'Albertas, Football stadium in Gozzano, Italy.
Stadio Alfredo d'Albertas is a football stadium in Gozzano, in the Piedmont region of northern Italy, with a covered main grandstand, three boxes, and a natural grass pitch. The ground holds around 1,530 spectators and has a compact layout typical of small-town Italian football venues.
The ground opened in 1960 under the name Stadio di Monterosso and was renamed in 1994 after the former club president Marquis Alfredo d'Albertas. The new name recognized the role he played in building the club during his time in charge.
The stadium is the main place in Gozzano where locals gather to watch the town's football team, ASDC Gozzano, play at home. On match days, the stands fill with supporters from the town and nearby villages.
The stadium sits on Via Madonna di Luzzara in Gozzano and is easy to reach by car. It is worth checking whether a home match is scheduled before visiting, as the ground is generally closed on non-match days.
During the 2018-2019 renovation, the home team had to play its matches at Stadio Silvio Piola in Vercelli, a city about 30 miles (50 km) away. The team returned to its own ground in September 2019, once the work was complete.
