Santi Pietro e Paolo Church

Santi Pietro e Paolo is a neoclassical church featuring a distinctive front facade with a grand entrance framed by stone molding, supporting pilasters, and a large arched window. The interior is organized around a Latin cross plan with three naves and barrel-vaulted ceilings decorated with lunette domes.

The church was built between 1848 and 1852 following architect Giulio Aluisetti's design. It replaced an earlier religious building that had existed on this site since medieval times.

The church follows the Ambrosian rite, a liturgical tradition specific to the Milan region that shapes worship here. Visitors can observe this distinctive practice during services, which differs from the Roman rite used in most other Italian churches.
