The rectangular building features a polygonal apse ending the presbytery and a bell tower with a stone shaft and a painted clock face.
The church underwent five construction phases, with archaeological excavations revealing foundations dating back to the 5th-6th centuries beneath the current floor.
The walls received frescoes by local artists in 1491, with significant paintings added in 1495, 1501, and an apse painting completed in 1555.
The church stands in the center of Fiera di Primiero, near the Tressane bus stop and multiple accommodation options including Hotel Primiero.
German architects modified the church between 1493 and 1495, involving local miners in the construction work and equalizing the height of side naves.
