The museum occupies a building that served as the first place of worship for the Jewish community, which established itself in Pitigliano during the 15th century.

The exhibition includes ceremonial items, religious texts, and everyday objects that document the traditions and customs of Jewish life through Italian history.

Located at Vicolo Margherita, the museum opens daily from 10:00 to 18:30 except Saturdays, with a break between 13:30 and 14:30.

The museum features preserved facilities from the original Jewish quarter, including a ritual bath, kosher wine cellar, butcher shop, and matzah bakery.
