Chiesa di Sant'Andrea

The church features a Romanesque portal with an intricately carved lintel and a single-nave Latin cross layout with multiple decorated chapels inside.

First documented in 1025, the church belonged to Camaldolese monks from San Silvestro monastery before passing to Franciscan order in the 13th century.

The interior contains notable artworks including Meeting of Saints Joachim and Anne by Dono Doni and Enthroned Madonna and Child with Saints by Pinturicchio.

The church maintains regular opening hours for visitors who can explore its religious artworks, decorated chapels, and 17th-century wooden choir.

During renovation work, archaeologists discovered terraces from an ancient Roman forum beneath the rear section of the church building.
