Beldiletto Castle, Medieval fortress in Valfornace, Italy.

The castle features a square layout with four corner towers and a central courtyard containing a portico with pointed arches.

Giovanni II di Berardo da Varano constructed the castle in the 14th century on top of an existing fortification at the borders of Marches.

The great hall of the castle contains frescoes depicting themes from medieval chivalric poetry, reflecting the artistic preferences of noble families.

Located within the Polverina Reserve, the castle remains privately owned and requires advance arrangements for visiting the property.

The structure changed from a defensive fortress to a noble residence when Giulio Cesare Varano removed the moat and drawbridge system.
