Santa Maria della Pietà

Santa Maria della Pietà is a secularized church in Gesualdo featuring classical baroque architecture arranged around a central oval layout. The interior walls and surfaces carry marble decorations and stone details throughout the worship space.

The building was constructed in 1642 and originally served the local community as a place of worship. Over the following centuries, it gradually lost this religious function and transitioned to secular use.
