Chiesa di San Secondo, Romanesque church in Cortazzone, Italy.

The church features a three-nave interior layout culminating in three semicircular apses, with Gothic vaulted ceilings added in later periods.

The San Secondo Church represents one of the most notable examples of Romanesque architecture in the Asti region, standing atop a hill since medieval times.

The church interior displays intricately carved capitals with symbolic decorations and naturalistic motifs that reflect medieval artistic expressions.

Visitors need to obtain the church key from the Fiore family residence, located at the last house on the right when approaching the building.

The exterior walls feature a decorative pattern known as 'wolf teeth' triangles and a checkerboard crown supported by continuous small arches.
