International Stadium Yokohama

The International Stadium Yokohama features 72,327 seats within its 107-meter length and 72-meter width structure, making it one of Japan's largest sports facilities.

The stadium, designed by MHS Planners and Tohata Architects, began construction in 1994 and officially opened its doors on March 1, 1998 at a cost of 60.3 billion yen.

The International Stadium Yokohama serves as the home ground for Yokohama F. Marinos football club and regularly hosts national team matches that draw thousands of supporters.

Visitors can reach the stadium through Shin-Yokohama station, located a 15-minute walk east, or via the Yokohama Line from Higashikanagawa station to the north.

The stadium hosted the 2002 FIFA World Cup final between Brazil and Germany, and later transformed into a venue for the 2019 Rugby World Cup final.
