Tosu

Tosu is a city located in the western part of Japan within Saga Prefecture, comprising residential and commercial districts. The municipality sits in the northern section of the prefecture near the border with Fukuoka, spreading across a flat plain with housing and industrial zones.

The modern municipality of Tosu emerged in the late 19th century when Japan reorganized its administrative structure into cities and counties. The area later developed as a transportation hub when major railway lines were constructed through the region.
