Masaki is a town in Iyo District, Ehime Prefecture, situated at the southern edge of the Dogo Plain. It spreads across flat terrain and faces the Seto Inland Sea in northwestern Shikoku.
The settlement was established as a municipality in December 1889 and became a town on October 31, 1922. This change marked a turning point in its development as an organized administrative unit.
