Amagoi Falls

Amagoi Falls consists of two separate cascades measuring 45 meters and 27 meters high, creating a double stream that flows into a natural basin.

The waterfall earned recognition as one of Japan's top 100 waterfalls and has served local farmers who climbed to its location for rain prayers.

The falls feature a feminine cascade of 45 meters on the right side and a masculine cascade of 27 meters on the left, reflecting Japanese natural symbolism.

Visitors can reach the falls by taking bus routes 56 or 57 from Tokushima Station to Yoriinaka stop, followed by a 60-minute walk through forest paths.

The 800-meter trail to Amagoi Falls passes multiple smaller waterfalls, including Uguisu, Fudo, Jigoku-fuchi, Momiji, and Kannon, each with observation points.
