Nihonbashi-Kabutochō, Financial district in Chūō-ku, Tokyo, Japan.

The Tokyo Stock Exchange building stands at the center of Nihonbashi-Kabutochō, surrounded by numerous banks and securities companies along the streets.

During the Edo period, this area transformed from swampland into residences for Daimyo lords who participated in constructing Edo Castle nearby.

The district name Kabutochō derives from ancient samurai helmets, as Minamoto no Yoshiie reportedly buried his helmet in this location during the 11th century.

The K5 boutique hotel, housed in a converted 1920s bank building, provides accommodations with direct access to dining establishments and financial institutions.

A revolving cubic screen in the Kabuto One building lobby displays real-time stock market data, representing the district's ongoing financial activities.
