Apsan Park, Mountain park in Daegu, South Korea

Apsan Park is a wilderness park in southern Daegu covering 1.653 km² of valleys and peaks of Apsan mountain. A gondola and a network of trails lead to the summits. The Nakdong River Battle Museum, a small amusement park, restaurants and the Buddhist temple Ansil-sa lie within its boundaries.

The park developed as a recreation area for Daegu and was expanded to preserve the memory of significant military events. A museum within the park holds exhibits and objects related to the Korean War, particularly the Nakdong River Battle.

Ansil-sa is one of several Buddhist temples inside Apsan Park, set among the valleys and peaks of the mountain. Visitors can see traditional Korean religious buildings there, and the temples are part of how the park is used today, alongside its trails and museum.

A gondola runs from the park up to one of the peaks, and a network of trails also leads to the various summits. The park covers 1.653 km2 of valleys and ridges south of the city, so allow time to move between areas. The Nakdong River Battle Museum, a small amusement park and restaurants sit near the base.

From the higher points in the park, views stretch across the entire city of Daegu and beyond, offering perspectives that many visitors do not anticipate. These views reveal how the mountain ridge forms a natural boundary along the city's southern edge.
