Duryu Park

Duryu Park is a large green space in Daegu with extensive walking paths, sports facilities, and various areas for outdoor recreation. It provides tennis courts, swimming pools, baseball fields, and separate areas for roller skating and football.

Created in 1965, this park grew from a simple green space into a major recreational hub for Daegu. The transformation reflects how the city expanded and what people wanted for their leisure time.

Two Buddhist temples stand within the grounds and host festivals year-round, including lantern displays and outdoor concerts that draw local crowds.

The park has walking paths that are easy to access on foot, and it is well laid out for visitors of different activity levels. The various zones are clearly marked, making it simple to find your desired facility.

The grounds host more than 130 different species of trees and plants, creating a diverse botanical environment within Daegu's urban landscape. This variety offers different blooming and foliage patterns to observe throughout the year.
