Daegu National Museum

The National Museum of Daegu spans multiple exhibition halls displaying archaeological objects and historical artifacts from the Daegu and North Gyeongsang Province regions.

The institution opened its doors on December 7, 1994, and expanded in 2010 with the addition of three specialized halls focusing on ancient culture, medieval culture, and textiles.

The museum preserves and exhibits 30,000 artifacts that represent the daily life and traditions of people from different periods in Korean history.

Located near Beomeo Station on Daegu Metro Line 2, the museum offers guided tours in multiple languages and maintains regular educational programs for students.

The building combines traditional Korean architectural elements with modern design features, housing specialized collections that document the regional development of Gyeongsangbuk-do.
