Panemunė Castle, Renaissance castle in Jurbarkas District, Lithuania.

The castle features a central courtyard surrounded by four wings, with towers at each corner and five cascading ponds in the surrounding park.

Hungarian nobleman János Eperjes commissioned the construction of Panemunė Castle between 1604 and 1610, employing Dutch architect Peter Nonhaardt for the design.

The Vilnius Academy of Arts maintains exhibition spaces within the castle walls, displaying art collections and hosting traditional craft fairs throughout the year.

Visitors can access all restored sections of the castle, climb the towers for river views, and explore the surrounding park with walking paths.

The castle walls contain recently discovered Renaissance-era frescos, which were uncovered during restoration work initiated by the Vilnius Academy of Arts.
