Barstyčiai stone, Glacial boulder in Puokė, Lithuania

The Barstyčiai stone measures 13.4 meters in length, 3.6 meters in height, and 7.5 meters in width, with a weight of 680 tons.

In 1957, this massive boulder from the Fennoscandian rock massif was identified after being transported by continental glaciers during the Ice Age.

The stone received official protection status as a geological monument in 1968, marking its importance in Lithuanian natural heritage.
