The Cat Museum displays more than ten thousand feline-related items, including statues, paintings, postcards, stamps, ceramics, and crystal figurines from various countries.

Vanda Kavaliauskiene established the museum in 1990 after receiving her first cat statuette in 1962, which sparked a collection too large for home storage.

The museum reflects Lithuania's appreciation for felines through three exhibition halls featuring artworks, photographs, and decorative items from multiple international artists.

Located on the second floor of the young naturalists station building, the museum offers educational programs about cat care and hosts special events for children.

The museum maintains a living corner with exotic animals, including pythons, rats, lizards, crocodiles, and a small monkey, complementing the cat-themed exhibitions.
