Panų kalnas, Religious chapel in Telšiai district, Lithuania.
Panų kalnas is a chapel standing on a sandy hill in the Telšiai region. The hill extends roughly 210 m in length with slopes that rise about 6 m above the surrounding ponds.
Originally two small chapels stood on the eastern part of the hill, but both were destroyed during Soviet times in 1982. They were later restored in July 1990.
The site belongs to Alsėdžiai Parish and draws visitors especially during religious celebrations. People come to pray and use the sacred spring, which gives the place deep spiritual meaning for the local community.
The site is easily accessible and offers good opportunities to explore the hill and surroundings. Visitors should wear appropriate footwear, as the paths cross sandy slopes that can become slippery in rain.
A spring at the base of the hill contains water that local residents have traditionally used to treat eye problems. This old practice still draws visitors today who believe in the water's healing properties.
