Vingis Park Bridge, Steel footbridge in Žvėrynas district, Lithuania.
Vingis Park Bridge is a steel footbridge that crosses the Neris River and links Žvėrynas district to the park on the other side. The crossing spans about 230 meters with a width of roughly 6 meters, accommodating both pedestrians and cyclists.
The bridge was built in 1985 as part of Vilnius's urban development during the Soviet period. It replaced an earlier crossing that had existed near what was formerly known as Užvingis Island.
The bridge serves as a gateway to Vingis Park, where residents and visitors gather for walking and leisure. The surrounding area comes alive during summer months with regular outdoor events and performances.
The bridge is relatively flat and easy to cross without steep sections. Access is available throughout the day and the path is well lit, especially during evening hours.
The bridge features triangular plazas at each end that function as natural gathering spaces. From these areas, visitors can view the Neris Valley and surrounding nature from an elevated vantage point.
