MO Museum, Contemporary art museum in central Vilnius, Lithuania.
The white angular structure of MO Museum features intersecting geometric forms with a spiraling staircase connecting multiple exhibition levels.
Local scientists Danguolė and Viktoras Butkus established MO Museum in 2018 on the former site of Lietuvos cinema, which operated until 2005.
The collection presents 6,000 Lithuanian artworks from 1960 onwards, representing major developments in national art during the post-Stalin period.
The museum opens daily from 10:00 to 20:00 except Tuesdays, with standard admission at 11 euros and reduced prices for students and seniors.
Daniel Libeskind designed this museum as his smallest project, incorporating circular elements that contrast with the angular exterior architecture.
