Stade du Thillenberg

The Thillenberg stadium features a large terraced section built against a hillside and includes a wooden grandstand that accommodates 6300 spectators.

Construction of the stadium began in 1921, and after its completion in 1922, the facility underwent modifications to enlarge the playing field for its 1925 reinauguration.

The stadium gained national recognition by hosting Luxembourg international matches from 1926 until the capital city took control of national game venues.

The facility now primarily serves for training sessions and B-team matches, with protected monument status ensuring its preservation since 2018.

The stadium's position on Thillenberg hill integrates natural terrain into its architecture, with one side of spectator seating built directly into the slope.
