Ozo Golf Club, Golf course at Ķīšezers lake, Riga, Latvia.
The course stretches along 6400 meters of terrain with 16 artificial ponds and 50 sand bunkers across 18 holes near Ķīšezers lake.
Established in 2002, the club earned national sports facility status in 2005 and became the primary training center for Latvian national golf teams.
Former NHL player Sandis Ozoliņš, winner of the 1996 Stanley Cup with Colorado Avalanche, founded this first 18-hole golf course in Latvia.
The golf course remains closed until spring 2025, when players can return to practice on the professional tees and training facilities.
American architect Rob Svedberg integrated mountain design elements from Denver into the Baltic coastal landscape of the course.
