Botanical Garden of the University of Latvia, Botanical garden and protected area in Pardaugava, Latvia
The Botanical Garden of the University of Latvia is located in Pardaugava and spreads across a large area with different plant houses. The grounds feature several specialized zones where tropical species, azaleas, and other collections are housed.
The garden was first founded in 1922, but its current location developed a few years later. The move to the former manor grounds marked the beginning of its growth at this site.

The site houses one of the butterfly collections with specimens from distant regions around the world. Visitors can watch exotic butterflies in a specialized house designed for them.
