Arabati Baba Teḱe

Arabati Baba Teḱe is a monastic complex of Ottoman origin in Tetovo, featuring multiple structures arranged across the grounds including a main inn, library, winter quarters, kitchen, and prayer hall alongside four distinctive towers. The layout brings together residential spaces, educational areas, and facilities for daily life within a unified design.

The complex was established in 1538 and traces its origins to a former Ottoman official who served under the Sultan. A major expansion occurred in the late 1700s when a land grant allowed the site to grow significantly.
