Built in the late 14th century during Ottoman rule, the church survived numerous conflicts and natural disasters, including the devastating 1963 Skopje earthquake.

Visitors can access the church daily from 8 AM to 6 PM, with extended hours during religious celebrations and important Orthodox holidays.
The church houses an ornate wooden iconostasis that extends from floor to ceiling, displaying intricate carvings and religious paintings from different periods.
