Zwolle railway station

The railway station features a wide passenger tunnel measuring 17 meters across and 120 meters in length, connecting to platforms served by thirteen tracks.

Architect Nicolaas Kamperdijk designed this station, which opened on June 6, 1864 as part of the Utrecht-Kampen railway line development in the Netherlands.

The station holds the status of Rijksmonument, recognizing its architectural merit and position within Dutch transportation development during the nineteenth century.

The ZwolleSpoort project enhanced the station with a new bus terminal at its southern edge, improving connections between rail and regional bus services.
