Hoofdstraat 35 is a two-story villa with carriage house in Leens, designed with plastered facades, pilasters, and a wooden attic. The interior maintains a T-shaped corridor layout with gray marble flooring in the entrance hall and wooden floors throughout the other rooms.

The estate was built in 1868 for notary A.W. Spandaw as part of a wider trend of wealthy officials commissioning impressive residences. Partial renovations around 1905 incorporated Art Nouveau elements into its varied architectural design.
