OCCII

OCCII is an alternative music theatre in a former horse tram depot featuring multiple performance spaces and a central concert hall. The complex also houses a cafe, restaurant, library, children's theatre, and bike workshop.

The building was designed by architect Abraham Salm between 1883 and 1884 as a tram depot. After operating as a squatted space, it gained legal status in 1989.

Programming groups here manage events ranging from indie and post-punk to experimental and underground punk styles. The space reflects a community-driven approach to organizing artistic performances.

The venue opens only during scheduled events, so check what is happening before visiting. The complex operates through volunteers and can accommodate different types of visitors.

The complex grew from a squatted artist community that transformed the old depot into a working cultural hub. This history of self-organization still shapes how things run today.
