Schaats- en Racketcentrum Breda

Schaats- en Racketcentrum Breda is a sports complex that houses both an ice skating rink and indoor courts for various racket and ball sports. The facility brings together a 400-meter skating track, tennis courts, badminton and volleyball areas, and basketball courts in one location.

The complex opened in 2001 as a new sports venue for the Breda area and the surrounding region. Its construction aimed to expand ice skating capacity beyond what was available at existing facilities in neighboring regions.

The center welcomes between 200,000 and 250,000 visitors annually, serving as a central point for winter sports and racket activities in North Brabant.

The center is located in the Wisselaar district and easily accessible by road. Visitors should check in advance which sports are available at their preferred time, as facilities rotate between different activities throughout the day.

The facility has become a major hub for winter sports and racket activities in the North Brabant region, drawing tens of thousands of visitors each year. The combination of so many different sports under one roof makes it an uncommon model for multi-use sports centers in the Netherlands.
