This mill witnessed several transformations through centuries, serving the local community as a grain processing facility since its initial construction in the medieval period.

The mill represents traditional Dutch milling techniques, maintained by certified volunteer millers who continue the centuries-old practices of grain grinding.

Visitors can observe the milling process during operating hours, with guided tours available that explain the mechanical components and grain processing methods.

The mill contains original cast-iron components from 1892, including a specialized windshaft manufactured by the Nijmeegsche IJzergieterij manufacturing company.
