Naarderbos encompasses 0.55 square kilometers of woodland and meadows, featuring oak, chestnut, and beech trees along numerous walking paths and picnic spots.
The forest sections of Naarderbos were established in 1980, transforming the landscape into a mixed-use area for both residential and recreational purposes.
The Naarderwoonbos residential section contains 180 villas, each equipped with individual boat piers, creating a distinct waterfront community within the recreational zone.
Located 20 kilometers southeast of Amsterdam, Naarderbos includes an 18-hole golf course, a beach constructed in 2007, and three urban villas.
The area serves as a habitat for diverse wildlife, including moles, snakes, ferrets, and a family of storks that returns during summer months.
