The church structure spans 60 meters in length, 25 meters in width, and rises to a height of 17 meters, with a tower reaching 53 meters.
Constructed between 1924 and 1925 under architect Jan van der Laan's direction, the church received its consecration on September 17, 1925.
The interior features a 1931 Art Nouveau fresco by Alex Asperslagh depicting the Trinity, along with Stations of the Cross painted by Wijnand Geraedts in 1943.
Located at Herensingel 3 in Leiden, the church maintains regular religious services and functions as part of the Parish of Saints Peter and Paul.
The wooden altar contains relics of Saint Boniface and the Martyrs of Gorkum, while a dedicated chapel displays a statue of Padre Pio.
