Statenpassage, Parliamentary hall in Binnenhof, The Hague, Netherlands
The Statenpassage extends 100 meters in length and rises 24 meters high, connecting multiple sections of the Dutch House of Representatives complex.
The hall opened in 1992 as part of an expansion project that integrated former ministry buildings and a hotel into the parliamentary complex.
The marble floor design reflects the patterns of wet beach sand while steel cables suspend an art installation depicting Dutch maritime elements.
Visitors must register in advance through visitors.tweedekamer.nl and present identification documents before entering the parliamentary complex during working hours.
Multiple committee rooms behind vertical slats line the passage walls, where representatives discuss policies with ministers and state secretaries.
