Verkeerspark Assen, Traffic-themed amusement park in Assen, Netherlands
The park combines entertainment with education through a miniature traffic circuit featuring realistic road elements, gas stations, and roundabouts.
Founded in 1957 on Gouverneursplein in Assen, the park began as a youth traffic education center before expanding to an 8-hectare location in 1988.
Children practice driving skills under police supervision and receive a special driving license upon completing their training at the park.
The facility provides all-inclusive pricing with unlimited food and drinks, plus free parking for visitors throughout their stay.
The park relocated to Duinen Zathe in 2017, maintaining its traffic education concept while adding new family attractions.
