Millennium Tower

Millennium Tower is a modern skyscraper in Amsterdam's Zuidas district, stretching about 98 meters high with 25 floors of glass and steel construction. The structure houses office and commercial spaces and connects directly to Amsterdam Zuid station through underground passages.

The building was completed in 2004 as part of transforming the Zuidas area from an industrial zone into Amsterdam's financial district. This development marked a major turning point in urban planning, making the location a new hub for international business.

The tower symbolizes Amsterdam's shift toward an international business hub, showing how the city integrated modern architecture with local building practices. The area around it has become a workplace and gathering spot for many people, giving the district its working atmosphere.

The tower is easily accessible via Amsterdam Zuid station with underground parking available beneath the building. Note that it is primarily an office building with limited public areas, so access outside business hours is restricted.

The glass facade of the tower shimmers in different color tones depending on the time of day and sunlight, giving the building a living, ever-changing appearance. This optical effect is especially striking when viewing the district from different angles.
