Lintelo

Lintelo is a small rural settlement in Aalten, Gelderland, home to around 170 residents. The community is composed mostly of single-family homes spread across the countryside.

The settlement grew around a railway station on the Arnhem-Winterswijk line, which closed in 1938. After this closure, it transformed into a residential community without rail connections.

The community center here serves as the main meeting place for local events and social gatherings. Residents use this space to celebrate together and maintain connections with their neighbors.

The settlement is difficult to reach without a car, as public transportation is limited in this rural area. Visitors should plan ahead as there are few shops or services located directly here.

The Wenninkmolen, a round stone mill built in 1860, stands as a distinctive landmark in the local landscape. This preserved structure recalls the area's agricultural past.
