Raceway Venray, Dutch motorsport race track
Raceway Venray is a motorsport racing track in Venray, in the Dutch province of Limburg, that regularly hosts motorcycle and car racing events. The facility has several track sections and supporting infrastructure for race days and practice sessions.
The track was founded in the second half of the 20th century to give the Venray region a dedicated motorsport venue. Over time, the facility was gradually expanded to accommodate more competitions and a larger audience.
The track is well known for its motorcycle races, where local and national riders compete on the same circuit. Spectators tend to gather close to the barriers, which gives the whole event a very direct and personal feel.
Race events take place mainly on weekends in spring and summer, so it is worth checking the calendar in advance. The venue is easy to reach by car and has parking close to the spectator areas.
Raceway Venray is one of the few tracks in the Netherlands where both motorcycle and car races share the same facility. This means visitors can sometimes watch both disciplines on the same event weekend.
