Den Bramel, Rijksmonument complex in Vorden, Netherlands.

Den Bramel is a Rijksmonument complex in Vorden featuring brick construction with a U-shaped floor plan, smaller wings on the northeast and northwest sides, and a main block topped with a hipped roof. The property contains multiple cellars with cross-ribbed vaults, including one with a stone filter system that purified iron-rich water for household use.

The origins of the estate trace back to 1396, though the current structure was built in the 17th century. Major renovations occurred in 1825 and again after 1863, with each phase reflecting the architectural layers of its time.

The front facade displays Neo-Gothic elements with Ionic columns, while visitors encounter Renaissance woodwork and original ceiling beams from the 17th century inside. These crafted details reveal the artistic preferences of the residents across different periods.

The location sits in a quiet rural setting where the structure stands fully visible and isolated on its grounds. Visitors should allow adequate time to explore the various wings and cellared areas.

The bell tower is crowned with a cupola bearing the inscription 'Soli Deo Gloria 1735'. The clock mechanism inside was relocated from another location, showing how owners repurposed their resources across generations.
