The Zuiderstrandtheater features a modern design with large windows overlooking the North Sea coast, providing natural light throughout its performance spaces.
From 2015 to 2021, this theater served as a temporary replacement for the Dr. Anton Philipszaal and Lucent Danstheater while the new Amare complex was under construction.
The venue hosted performances by the Nederlands Dans Theater and the Residentie Orkest, presenting classical music concerts and contemporary dance productions.
Located at Kranenburgweg 211 in The Hague, the theater maintains a schedule of evening performances with paid parking facilities available for visitors.
The entire building structure was designed for potential relocation, and the city of Oss purchased it for over one million euros to repurpose it as Theater De Lievekamp.
