Old Moster Church

The medieval stone church features a rectangular nave measuring 12.4 by 8.1 meters and a square choir measuring 5.9 by 6 meters.

Construction of the stone church began in 1100 and finished in 1150, replacing an earlier wooden structure built during King Olav Tryggvason's reign.

The church played a central role in the 1814 Norwegian constitutional elections, serving as a designated polling station for the constituent assembly.

The church building accommodates 80 people and currently operates for special occasions rather than regular religious services throughout the year.

The church features a medieval bell in its loft, decorated with an engraved image of St. Olav and Latin inscriptions.
