Hausmanns bru

Hausmanns Bru crosses the Akerselva River and features cast iron construction with detailed architectural elements from the 19th century. The bridge connects different districts of Oslo and serves as a significant urban crossing point.

The structure was completed in 1892 by the Christiania Municipal Road Administration and has shaped the cityscape since then. It was expanded to six lanes in 1986 while its original railings were preserved.
