Mostranda

Mostranda encompasses three distinct sandy areas with natural sand formations both on the shore and extending into the clear waters of Tønsbergfjorden.

The beach gained official status as a public bathing area in 1937 when Tjøme municipality established protection through a formal servitude agreement.

Since the 1950s, the Motor Drivers' Temperance Association managed the A/S Mostrand camping site, establishing it as a social gathering point.

Visitors can access facilities including diving boards, volleyball courts, and restrooms, with parking spaces available near the camping grounds.

The northern section features Teinetangen, an island accessible by wading through a shallow sandy channel, offering fishing spots and sunbathing areas.
