Muñoz

The Science City of Muñoz is an administrative city in Nueva Ecija, situated at approximately 95 meters above sea level, and houses multiple agricultural research institutes and universities. The facilities focus on studying and teaching farming methods and related sciences.

The city received its name in 1886 from Don Francisco Muñoz, who served as the first appointed mayor of the region and laid the foundation for its later development. Over time, it became a center for agricultural research and scientific training.
