Eastwood City Walk of Fame, hall of fame in Quezon City, Philippines
Eastwood City Walk of Fame is a sidewalk installation in Quezon City with over 360 brass stars embedded in gray granite that honor personalities from film, music, television, and other entertainment fields. Each star bears a bronze plaque with the name and category of the honored person.
The installation was founded in 2005 by German Moreno, a well-known Philippine showbusiness personality, modeled after the Hollywood Walk of Fame. After Moreno's death in 2016, his son Federico took over and introduced a formally organized selection committee.
The name 'Walk of Fame' follows the Hollywood model and symbolizes appreciation for Philippine entertainment talents. The embedded stars in the sidewalk have become landmarks where visitors celebrate and photograph their favorite artists.
The walk is easy to explore on foot and reachable by public transit, taxi, or rideshare, with parking available nearby. The grounds are flat and safe for families, best visited on weekday mornings when crowds are lighter.
Digital influencers were first added to the category starting in 2020, showing how the site has evolved with new forms of fame and media landscape. This expansion reflects the changing nature of entertainment and cultural influence.
