The organ contains 1,031 pipes, with 902 crafted from bamboo and the remaining ones made from metal materials.
Father Diego Cera completed the construction of this musical instrument in 1824 after selecting and treating bamboo pieces in beach sand.
The International Bamboo Organ Festival presents classical music performances each February, featuring international and local musicians at St. Joseph Parish Church.
Visitors can see the organ during guided tours at St. Joseph Parish Church, which includes access to the museum in the old convent.
The bamboo pipes underwent a specialized preservation process, buried in beach sand for over a year to increase their durability.
