Redemptorist priests brought a revered image from Germany and first established a shrine in Malate. The congregation relocated to its present site in 1932.
The shrine draws its name from a revered image of Mary that shapes prayer life here daily. Pilgrims come to pray before this icon and to express their gratitude and hopes.
The shrine is open daily for multiple services in Tagalog and English. Visitors can easily access the building and attend prayer activities that happen throughout the day.
