Banjosa Lake, Reservoir in Poonch District, Pakistan
The artificial lake sits at 1,981 meters above sea level, surrounded by dense pine forests and mountains in the Azad Kashmir region.
The water reservoir underwent reconstruction efforts led by contractor Shoukat Hussain, enhancing its infrastructure for the Poonch District community.

Visitors can access the site via a paved road from Rawalakot, with multiple accommodation options including rest houses maintained by the Tourism Department.
During winter months, temperatures drop to -5°C, transforming the lake surface into a natural ice skating platform for winter activities.
