Fairy Meadows, National Park in Pakistan
Fairy Meadows National Park is a grassland near one of the base camp sites of the Nanga Parbat, located in Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan.
The name 'Fairy Meadows' was coined by German climbers and locally known as Joot.
It is a popular tourist destination due to its scenic beauty and the view of the towering peaks of Nanga Parbat.
The park is not accessible by road; visitors have to trek for about 3-4 hours from the village Tato.
The area is also home to the endangered Himalayan brown bear.
